Coconut ladoos are often made for festive occasions like Diwali, Durga puja. This is one of the simplest recipe, made with commonly available ingredients .
3 Cups desiccated coconut (1/3 cup put aside )
1 Can- condensed milk (397 gm)
6 Cardamom (powder)
2 Tbs Ghee
1 Heat ghee (unsalted butter) in a pan .
2 Add condensed milk.
3 cook it for 8 minutes on low flame and add cardamom powder .
4 Stir very well and cook the mixture for another 2 minutes or till it becomes thick on low flame .
5 Add desiccated coconut, mix it well and cook it for 2 minutes.
6 when the mixture cools down to room temperature , pinch small ball from mixture and form ladoo .
Roll ladoos in desiccated coconut.
ladoos are ready to serve
