Aalu Achar is a Nepali dish prepared with potatoes, sesame seed and other ingredients. People eat this as a delicacy for snacks. This is well-known among the Newari people in Nepal.

Ingredients:
Boiled peeled potato 1/2 kg
Salt as per your taste
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Oil 1 tbs
Roasted Sesame seed 50gm
Green chilli 2
Fenugreek seed 1/2tsp
Chopped Coriander leaves 5 sticks
Lemon 1/2
Chilli powder 1/2 tsp (optional)
Recipe:
1. Cut potatoes into pieces (1 inch ) put aside in a big bowl. Grind sesame seed and make fine powder
2. Take a small pan , put oil and let it warm. Add fenugreek seed , let it crackle. Add chilli and turmeric powder.

3. Leave it for 10 seconds and mix it with potatoes . Mix grinded sesame seed and lemon with potatoes, and add two tsp water . Mix it properly and garnish with coriander leaves.
